This is a late report from October fishin' trip with cuz and guide on Lake Bridgeport. We launched around 8 am on a cool morning and the first thing I did
was cheat. Everyone put a minnow on their hook and i put a plastic with a Gewber and dropped it in the water unnoticed. I started catchin' nice crappies
right away while the others were inactive. The guide noticed I wasn't using a minnow and ask me what I was using. Told him I'd let him know after I
caught a few more to test my method. After throwin' 4 nice thick slabs into the live well I confessed I was cheating. The guide had been pouring his own
jigs and weights for sometime and was interested until I showed him the package. He thought it was a chew of some kind but wouldn't try the taste test. LOL
Cuz said he would try it if I kept on catchin', and he did. Then the channel cats attacked our location and we moved to another spot. We caught a lot of
dinks and kept enough to validate the hiring of a guide. Had no problems keeping the Gewbers on the hook and one lasted the entire trip. I'm a believer
and Cuz said to bring 'em next trip. Appreciate the opportunity to give 'em a try. Hope they make your rich Ed.
