    2) On any lure or jig, even with attached minnow, I'll smear jig scent all over everything with my finger. This can be a little messy.

    3) More often though, so I don't get all stinky, I'll put a little in a bottle cap, and stick the jig in it. This works well, and applies the most scent.

    4) And if I'm using tube jigs, I'll squirt a little of the scent up inside the tube.

BTW, I'm working on a version of the scent that will be similar to a small gummy bear. Easier to just stick on the hook. But the liquid scent will always dissipate in the water better than anything solid to attract more fish, IMHO.
I squirted some scent in a bottle of nibblets and shook it up to spread the scent. Now when i put on a nibblet it already has the scent on it.

Nice. Great idea. You know, the thing is, your idea will hold the scent a longer time than otherwise. Everyone seems to want to hold the scent forever, but it does need to release in the water. If it stayed on the lure forever, it would not spread in the water. This idea would hold it longer, and release it over time. All while holding more scent. Very nice.

You have to try it and report back. Great stuff.

Slab I was wondering if since you thicken it up some if it would work in a bait pump so U can better get it in hollow headed jigs. Sure its not going to be as thick as crappie nibbles but thats probably better cause U need it to dispurse in water to attract the crappies. Do U still have any of the older style crappie hats but with the mesh on top?

Try it in the Bait Pump and report back. The new flip tip tops I use squirt right into the back of tube jigs well in my opinion. But go ahead and try it in the bait pump. It is concentrated scent, so a little goes a long way.

And if you want a mesh cap, let me know what color and I'll try to get you one. Should not be a problem.

I keep mine in a worm air blower. I have a few jigs especially tied with a 3cm hollow tube from a "Q-Tip." Try putting a drop or two into that tiny tube. Dissipates slow in the water and lasts a long time. Thank you Ed.

Has anyone tried a small piece of cotton push up into the tube jigs to hold the scent? Just thinking out loud.
