Default Hoe to use it ?

So i got my scents in yesterday. I ordered two packages so I'm set. I was wondering how you fellow anglers use it? Do you put some in a container and dip your grubs/tubes? Do you apply it directly on to the bait? Do you let sit on the bait for a while? I'm new to crappie fishing so I'm trying everything I can to master those nice tasting fish. i appreciate your insight in advance...

Put a drop or two on your jig or if you use tube jigs you can squirt some up inside. I do not dip...I use it right out of the quirt bottle that it comes in.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Essentially I use it four different ways.

    1) I'll put just a dab on the jig head (squeeze the bottle, and grab the hook of the jig, then poke the jig head into the little bubble of scent that comes out the bottle).

    2) On any lure or jig, even with attached minnow, I'll smear jig scent all over everything with my finger. This can be a little messy.

    3) More often though, so I don't get all stinky, I'll put a little in a bottle cap, and stick the jig in it. This works well, and applies the most scent.

    4) And if I'm using tube jigs, I'll squirt a little of the scent up inside the tube.

BTW, I'm working on a version of the scent that will be similar to a small gummy bear. Easier to just stick on the hook. But the liquid scent will always dissipate in the water better than anything solid to attract more fish, IMHO.

Will these Gummy bears be OK to nibble on if & when I get hungry while fishing, will the different colors have different taste??? Man I love Gummy bears, one of my granddaughters turned me back on to them. And yes we have caught green carp(baxx to some) on them while fishing small pond.

How 'bout a cap that would make it easier to get it up inside a tube jig, like the one I had or the one on the bottle of glue?

Just got my hat & scents last week so haven't had a chance to try them yet. Hope to give them the ultimate test soon, in this muddy water we have here now.:D

Received my scent today. A cap like that would be nice for tubes. Guess I can use the hypo syringe for that.
