I live up around Alatoona, but I am from the North GA/Chattanooga area and I have jug fished a lot. One of the best baits for jug fishing is SPAM cut into small squares. I always caught a lot of fish on jugs with SPAM, but not to good on trot lines. I have never fished Sinclair, so I can't help you out there. I am going night stalking tonight for Crappie on Toona. This will be my first night stalk. I will post my results. I went to basspro and bought lights, lattern, new anchor rope ect.. I wanna have a lot of lights, a guy got killed Tuesday night (I think it was Tues.) when a bass boat run his boat over. You probably heard about it. If not you can google it for the details. Man, that would definately be a bad fishing trip.

That is good to know, I bought some stuff called catfish dynamite or something like that. It is a tube paste stuff that you squeeze into a treble hook that holds the bait inside. I want to give that a shot, but I will also bring some spam. Thanks a bunch for the advice, and be sure to let us know how you do at Toona tonight!!!

Keep that sucker lit up like a Christmas tree!!!!

    Good Luck - GABoy
I won't be at work........I'm feelin' crappie today!

Can't blame the guy in the bass boat ... from what I heard, dudes were out in a rowboat with no lights ... at night. One things for sure ... I usually run both lights (bow and stern) even though the law doesn't require it. I mean ... what the heck ... I gotta big battery ....
