Thread: Oconee Lake Help?

I'm thinking about coming to Oconee Lake next week to troll for catfish and was wondering if there is boat access where Hwy 44 from Greensboro heading to Eatonton crosses the lake. On the map looks like about 25'-35' +/- of water in that area. Not knowing too much about Oconee I thought it might be good fishing between the 44 bridge and back up towards the mouth of Sugar Creek. For trolling I want to fish an area void of trees/bottom structure. Anyone know any info about this area? Thanks.
