    Default Blackshear (16 dec 19)

Decided to beat the wind and fish Blackshear before all the rain stained the lake. Water was clear and fish were feeding pretty good. Today was a day with 2 suns as the moon was visible till 10:00ish. Fish were scattered along the channel and we made long runs. Water temp was 54 degrees and fish kinda deep. No particular pattern nor a favorite bait. Caught on acid rain, parrot, John Deere green....etc. kept 25 for our next supper.......pretty good fish. We were longline trolling.......

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

This is what we were using....tex’s Jigs + Litewirehooks + #4 lead. Called Brad at flint river outdoors and he said they had received 5 inches of rain. I fished main lake......

That’s a good day Curtis. I like those chin spin heads.
