Thread: Fished The Hill Today

Spent 5 hours to catch one big male crappie. I long-lined, trolled shallow, pitched jigs and minnows to cover, pitched a few floating docks.....the second time on the lake since moving back to the area. Got to learn how to fish it and where. I fished mostly around Keg Creek today. Saw lots of nice boats but didn't see anybody else catching anything either. Beautiful day to enjoy God's wonderful creation.

I fished Thursday On the Hill, I think what help me was the wind Monday Tuesday and Wednesday keep people off the lake and my jigs where the first to be seen for 4 or 5 days

Well, you did a much better job than I did....good catch...nice mess of fish....that's what I'm looking for.....ready for a good fish supper!
