Thread: Oconee 3/8

Fished Oconee Friday. Put in @ Sugar Creek and parking was a premium. Lots of Bass men there pre-fishing for saturday tourney.ton of crappie fishermen fishing in Sugar Creek. Had already figured out where we were gonna fish before leaving for lake. Went to known spawning cove to fish flat in front between river and cove and got on fish right away.put 17 in well then bite quit. Went down lake to Lick and bite was no better, kept 5 fish there.Left and went back up river to fish couple more spots before coming back to original spot. Ended day with 50 keepers, nothing under 10" with a lot of "twins" wieghing right @ 1 1/2lbs. No 2 lbers for me, but a friend fishing in Lick had several 2lbers and one weighing 2lb.14oz. We were longlining double 1/16 curly tails and paddletails.No special color. .08 mph. WT 55-58 in 18-25 ft water, 10-15 ft deep.
