My brother and I had a fun trip to Oconee. It was so foggy at times we had to use the GPS and run at idle for long distances. But we were able to get onto the main lake from Sugar Creek and found some fish. We "combo trolled" in the dense fog...again having to relying on the GPS to know where we were. The bite was early and good until about 11 am.

Water temperature was 47.7 degrees when we started and 48 degrees when we left. Most of the fish we caught were in 25 FOW and either in the trees or very near the trees. Frank caught one long striper and got it in without any line tangles. We caught around 30 but kept 22 over 10.5".

Thanks again to our mentors. We are new at crappie fishing and very fortunate to have great mentors.
