This past Saturday Morning I stopped in the Valley Walmart before Sunrise. I had my favorite Diawa minicast combo in the center rodholder. When I came out it was gone. Nothing else just that combo. I had everything in there even an underwater camera. Glad they left the rest but I miss that rod...lol I only have 20 more. But I had that one too.

BaBo, you name it, a thief is low human being. One or some stole my grandchildren's Zebco 202's off my dock one night.

a few years back when I was livin in Florida I was on my way home from Fisheating creek and stoped at the Burger King in Labelle. I just went in to get somethin to go and figured my stuff would be ok in the boat. I got my food and jumped back into the truck and proceeded on my way home without checking to see if it was all still there. As soon as I walked into the house the phone was ringin. I answered it and it was a detective from the Hendry county sheriffs dept tellin me he had found my rods and tackle box. I was dumbfounded...told him didn't even realize they were gone. I had always kept my boat registration in my tacklebox. The detective saw Joe crackhead walkin down the street with the tackle and stopped him to investigate. Joe crackhead said he was just returnin from fishin. When he was asked where he got all the tackle he said his uncle gave it to him. When the detective looked through the tacklebox he found my boat registration and promptly arrested Joe crackhead. :D Apparently Joe crackhead had lifted my stuff while I was ordein my burger The detective asked if I wanted to press charges...."your daayyuum right" I told him. It was a 45 minute ride back to Labelle and it was after midnight but I was glad to do it! Still, I would have rather took my revenge out on his sorry hide than press charges. It's a fine sheriffs dept they got there in Hendry county! I had my stuff back before I ever knew it was missin!

I bought a 1964 9.5 hp motor a couple of years back. got it home and put it on a sawhorse in my garage to clean it up and see if it ran. My wife comes out and wants to go to home depot for something. My stupid self left the garage door open and when I got back it was gone. I called the police and they started writing up a report. I told them who I thought had done it.(Some people up the street I had problems with). While the police were at the other house checking things out a good friend of mine who is a boat mechanic called. I told him what had happened and he started cracking up laughing. I was so mad I couldn't see straight. He tells me next I should close my garage and he wouldn't be able to just take the motor to work on it. I felt dumb as hell ( I forgot I had called him to come help me with it). I had to call the police back and tell them just how dumb I was. It all turned out fine, but I learned a lesson. Now Crappieday fishes with that motor.
To heck with work, lets go fishing.
