retired and now i will always fish
I’ve had the yellow/green and the blue/white mr twisters but I now have the yellow American Angler and I like it better.
My AA died on my annual trip to Florida this year. 5 years of cleaning hundreds of Oscars, Bass and panfish did it in. I bought the heavy duty Rapala to try and it works really well. Just returned from a trip to Santee where I tried it out on dozens of Shellcrackers.
My AA was over 10 years old, so maybe not a fair comparison, but the Rapala is a much stronger knife. It went through fish with no effort.

Time will tell on my Rapala heavy duty. It was $49 at Academy Sports.
My fellow anglers on the Florida trip have reached the point they buy the Mister Twisters when on sale and when one starts to fail they throw it in the trash and open a new one.
One told me they last a year or two, then in the trash. They find them occasionally on sale for around $15, he said, and buy two or three.

2x mister twister. The blades are dull about the time to replace.
