Default A hot night on the O

My wife and I went to Lake Oconee last night. We caught 40-45, kept 21. The water temperature was a very warm 92 degrees. We marked lots of fish holding @ 12-20 feet deep. Even though they were pulling water, the bite was rather slow. We only seen 1 other boat, so I'm guessing everyone is staying away due to the heat?? The bait fish were still plentiful and very thick. On the ride from the boat dock to our fishing area and back, the bait fish swan alongside the boat. This year has been the best year for the abundance of bait fish. When you have natural forage, you will catch fish.
    Good fishing to all.
