Thread: Any updates on Blackshear?

I am meeting my parents down there this weekend and we are staying all next week. Never been to Blackshear. I have been reading old post to get an idea of some typical spots. We plan to use minnows.

Swift Creek on the south end and 3 creeks before it- and on the North end- Spring creek.

Any other usual spots to search for them?

In Alabama we can catch crappie on the river all spring/summer long- not sure if it is the same in a big lake.

We fished this past Saturday. Seemed to be slow on trolling but managed to find a few up in the shallows
