Just returned from a 3-day trip. It was pretty tough. The most fish we saw came from out of state fishermen who said they were drifting minnows up shallow and kept everything they caught. We caught 27 Friday, 40 Saturday and 15 yesterday. We fished up Yellowjacket creek but didn't go past Jackson creek and up the river no more than two miles. I preferred a 1/32oz BG monkey milk fished on 4lb test using a tediously slow presentation. The females we caught were still a week or two away from spawning. Water temps averaged in the mid to upper 50's. In the backs of the coves the temps were in the low 60's. We caught fish in 10 FOW and some in 2 FOW. Hope this helps.
