Thread: Back From Talquin

Interesting week. Famous Talquin wind once again on Monday and Tuesday kept many from fishing the hot spots (if U could find one.) However, beautiful days Wednesday and Thursday and fishing was good. Fish still scattered and no real pattern to be found. To find the big ones, had to use the stick/move method. Many filled with eggs and got most of the big ones hanging on the ledges around river channels. Zero luck in the creeks other than some suicide fish. Seen several folks in the pads fishing but didn't see any real results. Maybe some caught some but I didn't see anyone bringing a bunch to the landing. Picture of Friday morning catch just before the rain hit around 9. I had to come back home so plan was to fish the AM. Wish I could have stayed the entire day. Think a might have found the "SWEET" spot. Overall, good week of fishing minus the wind.
