but had lock jaw. Marked alot of fish deep but had to work for the 15 caught. Frustrating, but thats crappie fishing.
Most boats I talked to said the same thing. alot of fish, but not catch many.
Water Temps were 53*-56*. The wind getting up after lunch didn't help...5-10mph my arse.
Females eggs were still very bloody, with the forecasted temps the next couple of weeks its only going to get better.
Nice to meet you personally, Hotwater.
They hit a variety of colors, we was trying ever color in the box, trying to find the right combo.

Same here Dutch!
We went Saturday, had 8 in the boat before 9:30 longlining in the mouth of Sugar creek, then it shut off for us
Went up near Swords and only caught 2 keepers before we had to stay under the bridge for over 2 hours to dodge the rain
Went back the Sugar and only caught 2 more before my trolling battery died
Not a great day, but we did have 4 or 5 in the 1 1/2 lb range
No particular color seemed to matter, water temp was 55-56 degs. about all day
Sorry, we didn't take any pictures, threw them back at the end of the day

Took a good buddy of mine Yesterday and put in at swords before daylight and fished channel below the bridge towards blue springs We had one of our best days fishing. We caught fish on and off all day even through the rain. We caught close to 100 fish and left at 5:30 with a 2 man limit of 60 keepers. Fish bit every color we threw running double 1/16s
Like Dutch we kept 15 Sunday. They had lock jaw with the wind coming out of the east. Had to go 15-20 feet to get those 15.
Very nice
And with that, I'll see you on the water...
John
