I purchased some Bandit 300's a few weeks back. Haven't really tried them yet as we have been doing well with jigs. Will give them a try and will post results before fall.

I have been riding some cranks around in my boat for a year now. Hopefully I will get to use them this summer starting next week. Gonna put em on 16 foot poles. Never cranked much before. I have a mixture of Bandits, Strike Kings. Crappie Maxx and Johnsons. Will see which ones work best.

Come spring threw summer I will pull some cranks. Rebels or Bandits. Seems like the Whites like them better than the black crappie.

What equipment you use and how do set it up in your boat?

I fish from the front of the boat with three rod holder on each side. The longest pole in the front holder (12ft), smallest on the back (6ft), and a 10ft. in the middle. I normally fish cranks on the left side of the boat and jigs on the right. I really want to move up to a 14ft. rod up front. the cranks sometimes tangle up when I turn, I think they run too close.
I have had a lot of fun on Lake Blackshear with cranks, and ya never know what will hit them. Everything likes a crank bait, from Crappie to big ol Kitty fish.
