    Default Pulling Cranks Or Pushing Minnows


    Which one has the most success or easiest to learn, Pulling Cranks Or Pushing Minnows, I usually pull jigs not the best at it but I do ok, just looking for another way during the summer months to fish.

    Pushing for me You can stay over the trees and brush piles with slow moment. Cranks I tried last week you have to make big turns and run fast or put weight on line.

    Pushing minnows if given a the two options. In this area I wouldn't reccomend cranks at all.

    -pushing minnows much easier and can see where the fish are and that is where the bates are right under the depth finder .

    Pushing minnows on a very slow troll is a great way to catch summertime crappies. You can watch the graph to see the depths theyre holding and you can put your minners right over their heads. 'Course that's assuming the shock to the minners hitting that hot water dont curl 'em up. As the water heats on up you might have to aclimate the minners to the lake water.
