I didn't have time to do much fishing this spring. House projects and honey do list kept me tied up for most of the time. I spent more time thinking about fishing than doing it. I was thinking about all the things I had to do to get my rods and tackle ready to go. I am one of those that paint my rod tips so I can see them better. Then I had an idea. Why not put a cork on the end of my rod rather than paint. The few times I got to go, I think it is going to help me with detecting bites. It also rattles a little when you get a bite. Don't know if anyone else has tried this but I think it is going to help me. Hope this will help others that use long poles.
