Just got back from a couple of days at Talquin. Water was stained up but fishable with temps around 60-62. We found a few fish on the channel ledges but mostly in the flats in 10-18 fow. A FL biologist told us that some folks were catching fish in the pads already but most of the boats we saw were longlining the flats. Dark color jigs with chartreuse tails worked best for us double jigging 1/16th Lightwirehooks. Fish were still scattered but some good fish were being caught. The action was slow but steady.
