    Default Allatoona 12/13/15:Report

Went to bed Saturday with no intentions of fishing Sunday. When I woke up at 6 AM I figured why not. Little late start but I hit the water shortly after 8. Marked plenty fish but they were just not in the mood. Bite was slow but the quality was up from Saturday. Caught crappie 2:1 over the white bass. One run I got 3 doubles on the white bass all at the same time. Most fish came on the outside rods fishing about 50 ft behind the boat at .6 MPH over a 15-20 foot bottom. Water had a heavy stain and held at about 55 degrees. Color did not seem to matter all that much for me and neither did the bait style. Wind picked up around 11 and made boat control a bear so I packed it up. Overall, it was an excellent weekend of fishing.

Did you find any eggs in your crappie? Bout a quarter of mine already had eggs in them. Not a lot but a pouch bout the size of a nickel or bigger.
