did the wires short out and burn up . most will blow fuse . should not be hard to do . tie new wires on and pull through . mark the color where they plug in what i do is cut the wire and leave it pluged in that is if you are replacing the wire . if wires are not melted they should not need replacing . water caused a lot of corroded connections . clean all connections and put a little grease on them .any grease like wheel bearing grease will do .
