    Default Sinclair 2-21-15

I fished Sinclair yesterday with my friend Ray. We fished from about 8:00 until about 1:00. We quit early because we had to be back for a Sunday School get together. We only caught a 2 pound bass. We fished mostly 15 to 30 foot of water. The water temp was from 45 to 49 degrees the different places we fished. We marked huge amounts of fish but we couldn't get them to bite. We were long line trolling. The wind started blowing right after we started fishing. It picked up and blew really hard most of the day. It was cold on the lake too. We didn't get to take our coats off. LOL. When the weather becomes steady the fishing should be great. It is almost March so they are wanting to do their thing. I was just happy to finally get to go fishing this year. Good luck fishing.

Thanks for the report. I'll be glad when these cold temps decides to ease up. This time last year I was loading the boat with crappie at Sinclair.

The weather has to get better. LOL. You never know if you will wear them out or not unless you go. I was just glad to get to go. It is almost March so things have to change. The fish are ready to move up so once the weather changes for the better they will go crazy.

Yep thanks for that report. I'm looking forward to getting on Sinclair for crappie. I've still got a house up there so I'll have a place to camp out while there. Since I'm a newby, this would be my first trip just for crappie. I usually put in at Twin Bridges, so I guess I'll start there.

Doodlebug there are a lot of good places to fish up that way on Little River. I have caught a lot fish in Potato and Cedar creeks, you just have to match the depth to the temp. Good luck fishing.
