We have been catching them in 33'-35' fow water. Check the mouths of cove and creeks. Use your sonar to look for fish on the breaks. Find places where ditches and creek channels meet. When you find them, follow that depth contour line on your gps.

The crappie I have been catching on Oconee have been in 45'-47' fow.
