I just got an AP Terrova 55lb from basspro.
I mounted it and it powered up fine. I hit the AP button on the foot pedal and the AP indicator light doesn't come on.
So I got to reading through the paperwork, and noticed there may be different decals on the motor head.
Mine says DM(digital maximizer) and there is no turn on button for the AP.
I think I have the wrong unit. The box said AP on it also and when I ordered it the man was very clear on what I wanted.
Is there something I am not doing to get it turned on?

I called basspro and they will take it back if indeed it does not have AP.

If the AP is working but the light doesn't come on, the LED probably is disconnected from the view. Happen to min a few times and I do t worry about it now as long as the AP is working.
