Thread: Veteran's Day on Oconee

Kissimmee Kowboy and I celebrated Veteran's Day chasing slabs on Lake Oconee. We launched around 7:30 a.m. at Sugar Creek and fished until 3:00 p.m. We ended up keeping 35 nice fish. The bite was steady up until noon and then it slowed down some. We found the fish in 20-25 feet of water around brush/timber. We were fishing with minnows. I had to use the live well for the last 7 fish as we could not get any more in the cooler. The photo shows Kissimmee Kowboy with a nice 14 inch fish. We had a great day!
