Thread: Monday on Oconee

Two weeks ago we traveled to Oconee and after launching discovered we could not use the outboard due to a small mechanical issue (my stupidity). We trolled but could not get to the spots we wanted to fish and only managed to catch a few small ones. Yesterday, we went back and all the equipment functioned properly. We bought 2 dozen minnows and began fishing at 7:30 a.m. and fished until 4:00. We kept 23 fish including a 16 incher which is my personal best. It's nice when a plan comes together.

wish i could handle this heat i would be there . went to Blackshear this week end and it was to hot to fish in the shade .
