Timber Help
Hey, guys - I rarely post here, but read the forums each day. I am new to Oconee and just bought a house on Sugar Creek. I am trying the summer crappie in the standing timber with very little success. I've fished from down near the dam up to the pipe and even to Salem in the standing timber. I have a 596 Hd di Hummingbird that shows the timber really well but I rarely see fish in it, only swimming around freely. I've fished down rods with minnows / jigs from 8-15 feet. I've been able to do well in the fall and spring, but can't figure this out. Any advice? PM's are fine. I appreciate all that I've learned from you guys.
