Made a trip to Talquin and the bite and weather was good. Heavy rains caused the upper end to be a little stained but the fish were still there and hungry. We fished from Boy Scout to Little River and caught few fish everywhere. Even went to the lilly pads and jigged the hair jigs with success. The larger fish were in the 13-15 feet of water but there were lots of fish in the 7- 10 foot of water. Pick a pattern and stay with it and it worked. Met up with certain guide from Lake Oconee and he did good job catching fish. We were longlining litewirehooks and Southern Pro Curley Tails. Here are a few pics

HAHAHA!!!! Thanks for the pics Curtis and the supply of Lite wire hooks! You know.....I've never seen my boat from the "outside" Probably caught 200 fish...kept about 100 good uns over a couple of days....filet knife was hummin and the gulls eating good at Ingram's marina! be back in November I'm sure!!!! and February and next may...and.....That place is pretty addictive!

Nice catches Curtis, this old Kansas boy enjoyed fishing with you in Feb. Will be getting with you for more of those lightwire hooks, we like them here in the Midwest.
