He would buy me jigs from Curtis, grubs, line, etc, just tempting me to do it. Unlike Luke Skywalker, I caved and now have joined the rest of the force. I found this silly picture some time ago and told Jody, It fully expresses our relationship this crappie season. Its been fun. Sorry Curtis about posting late. Been real busy but I have stayed in touch with dem Cochran fellers!!

It was great to get back into long-lining/pushing/spider rigging. Met some good folks and had a good time. Also caught some nice slabs. I shared info with people when I was on them and got info when I wasn't. I was pretty disgusted when I got shut out on WP a couple of months ago. But I recovered.

Like a couple others on this thread. I'm headed to Shell Island, Fl next week for 5 days and then to Venice, LA. in a month. Just waiting for the weather to settle down and get a heads-up from my red/trout/flounder fishing buddy out there. And headed to Orient, SD the second week of November.

    Gotta start saving my pennies.

Ok now!! you guys don't forget about me on the fall trip to FL !! Ol Spidreman and Countrytime have created a crappie catching monster. I just wish I could of gone more this year. I truly appreciate all the information, tips and good old crappie catching know how that y'all shared with me this season.
I can't wait until i get to go again. Quick we need to try to get a night stalk going sometime soon and see if we can get everyone to go and have a good time. That's if Ol Earl and Cuz can stay up that late. , Truly enjoyed it and can't wait to do it again!!!
