Thread: Tobesofkee 4/2

I made a quick trip to Tobesofkee after work Wednesday afternoon. I fished the usual spots that would have produced crappie last month. I caught one fair keeper. Hit a couple other areas and caught a couple of nice ones. I pulled out the crankbait and bass fished a little while; caught a keeper and let one get off. Before dark I found a few in 9' FOW. Ended the night with 18 crappie and 1 bass.

Every crappie I cleaned had fresh egg sacks and no swollen bellies. I had 5 nice females that had plenty of eggs but were a few weeks away from dropping.

The crappie are as confused as the fishermen trying to catch them.

Lol I'd sure like to know where and how your catching crappie on Tobo. I can't catch a cold at Tobo
