Fishing Eufaula out of Lake Point park on Alabama side. We thought the fish should be shallow because of water temp (65) but few and far between. Mostly found VERY stained water and few fish. Is the best bite still pulling jigs? Gonna try water skiing behind the boat tomorrow with the wind forecast. Any help/advice is appreciated

Now that is funny. It is hard to get a Eufaula report here. Seems most that fish the lake don't visit forums. Fish are shallow in treetops and shallow brush. Troll bite is slower but still good. All of them won't be shallow at once. Cork and jig got a limit last week and so did pulling
we fished last thursday and friday and caught fish in 20-25 fow. The lake was muddying up as we were leaving friday. We limited both days with no fish under 10 inches and we were longlining jigs
I sent u a pm ArabAlspeckchaser.. Guess u didn't get it or was a bad report. Lol
Thank you LY34! We roughed it out from Tuesday to Thursday and we caught 40 fish over that time found fish in your creek, but did better further up the creek. Best depth was 15-20 pulling jigs about 10 feet deep We dunked minnows in the evening and caught a few males shallow 6 boats had a total of about 150 or so in the 3 days Plenty of crappie for our fish fry, but not what we had hoped for Thanks again ( my boat was the only one out of our group up that creek, all the others stayed up the creek by Lake Point)
Good deal
