Thread: Lake Blackshear 3-1-14

Went this morning for a short time and had great luck. Fishing started out very slow but when I did find them it was on. I ended up with 15 slabs with only 2 females and the rest large black males. Ranged from 11 1/2 inches to 13 1/25 inches. Surface temp was 56 degrees and the fish were cought from 8ft of water. I say they will be going to the shallows big time in about a week. Oh by the way the color I cought them on was chartruse/pink/chartruse and chartruse/pearl white/chartruse.
