I do a fair amount of trout fly fishing - when you're looking for current seams for crappie is it a fairly similar process to looking for trout? That is, you fish slow and fast sides of seam as well as the eddy until you find the school? OR do the crappie tend to look for the break side (slow side) of the seam? Also, do you pitch upstream trying to anticipate the movement of your jig into the strike zone?

Fishing in the river looks cool and I like how different your approach is compared to all the pushing and pullin south of you.
