Default A tailgate full of sinclair Crappie...2-20-14

Caught a limit today at Sinclair...I was not fishing the warm water discharge, Find these fish in the mouths of coves up Rooty creek and up near crooked creek, a few came from the marina. Water temps were mid-50's and blue and black are still the hot colors. Name: sinclair 220.jpg

I made a couple of passes but didn't pull any fish. There was still a heap of folks in there. Left from there went up to Optimus, but it was orange up there (water temps was 52*) didn't pull any fish behind Optimus, so I headed back down lake to finish the day.

Good job. I am headed that way next Tuesday. We plan to drop the War Eagle in at Twin Bridges and fish 4 spots.

If you see a long Red boat with an OLD guy driving, come say hello. I like putting faces with these handles.

Last year in February we caught 110 fish in that red water and the only color that worked was Brown/Orange triple Ripples.
