Yeah I think it depends on whether they pulling water or not,can be kinda turbulent behind that dam. Also depends on how much he's had to drink since he left little river (name ain't red eye for nothing!) My granpaw used to raise meal worms under his house in a large wash tub caught many fish on those worms crappie included
