Default Spring Break on Sinclair (April 3-7)

Well we had it all planned to have a crappie spring break. It started out out good Wed. Started shooting docks and catching a few under all docks and then the rains came Thursday and they moved out. I did KILL the Largemouth on spinnerbaits. I continued to try shooting but they just were not there. I thought when the rains stopped and water warmed back up maybe they would return but they did not. Water started Wed in Mid 50's in morning to 60+ afternoon. Thursday dropped to low 50 and did not climb much above 57.(Cold Rain) Friday water did climb back to low 60's but still no crappie until kids caught a few off dock at night. Sat. temps rose to mid 60's. Still nothing until dark on dock. I did see a few boats fishing dock lights and seem to be catching a few. Can not complain because we are not promised fish everytime or that they will be a next time. Just great time with the family I am so Blessed in having a wife and kids that enjoys going and letting me go.

    Good Luck

    Ray,

I am glad ya'll had a good time. They sure were some pretty bass you caught and you did real well with the bass. To bad the crappie weren't under the docks are you would have wore them out too. Wes

What part of lake were you fishing? And where were you catching the bass? Seawalls, docks, grass?
