Flint River/LakeSeminole
Would appreciate any pointers on general areas to fish in uppper Seminole. Will be spending 4/21 week below Seminole State Park on the Flint River. Don't know a thing about the area. Have a map and gps, but that's it. Rig is a G-3 1448 with 25 hp Yamaha.
I'm not particularly a bass guy but do a little. Prefer crappie, bream and cats.
Just a few pointers can save a lot of time looking.
Thanks in advance.

Fish Spring Creek. the crappie are finishing there spawn and the bream will bed on the next moon. Some are already fanning. Great catfishing everywhere on the lake and up rivers. I would try the Rattlesnake point area, fish pond drain area and around Smith landing first.

Thanks crappielimits. That helps. I found Smiths Landing yesterday by accident just riding around and looking. Mob scene yesterday. Must have been 50 people there swimming, picnicking, and a couple of camping. Probably not so bad during the week. The warm weather has people out looking for a swim. The creek looked like my kind of fishing for sure. I'll trailer up there and give it a shot.
I found out there is a huge bream bed area directly across the river from when we will be staying. They bed there every year. Will certainly give that a shot since full moon will be while I'm there.

Yes, Smith creek is usually crowded on the weekends, but not bad on week days! Be careful as there are stumps! Go to the right and hold tight to the bank. Should be fine in your boat! Also usually big beds early around Sealys landing!
