    Default Lake George 1-29-2013

Today, my dad and i hit Eufaula again. We knew the wind was going to be bad after lunch with the front coming in and hoped we could catch a mess before then. We got on the water around 8 am and the water temp was 53. When we started fishing, the fish was biting like crazy. In less than thirty minutes we had caught 25 or so and only kept about 8. We were only keeping fish over 9 inches and the ones we were keeping to start with was around a pound. We worked our way on back into the creek but the fish wasnt showing up much. We went about a mile and a half into the creek and finally found some fished stacked up in 25-30 fow. They really didnt want to bite a lot but the ones that were hungry were good sized. By lunch we had around 25 but the front had moved in and the bite just about quit. We trolled around until about 300 until the wind slowed and the sun came back out. The fish started back biting and we fished until 430 ending up keeping 52 with the biggest being 2 pounds 8 oz and the second biggest was 2 pounds even. The water temp when we left was 57.Name: 136_0065.jpg

Good report! Eufala has some of the nicest slabs in our area. Glad water levels are staying consistent.
