    Default Banks Lake

    Saturday
1st time there more or less checking it out. Fished for a little bit but mostly road looking.
Didnt find any pads except right against the bank, too shallow for fishing.
Water in the boat run was 5-6 ft deep and people I saw were all bass fishing up in the
left side of the run. Didnt see anybody spec fishing anywhere
    Sunday morning
rode over to Newton to check the river out, water is up the best Ive seen it in a long time,
not as high as I would like it but you can run it. Fellow said bluegills were bitting up river
    about a mile on crickets.
Gonna hit the Chattahoochee by Desser Landing this week and do some jigging in the
    pads

west side city limits on hyway 122 Lakeland Georgia no motor restrictions, about 1000 acres of water, lots of
cypress trees, water is what I would call clear for a lake with a lot of cypress in it.If you run the "boat run" your
ok,but getting out of it use your trolling motor as you may bump a stump

Banks has huge bluegills and good bass fishing. Lots of pads in cypress usually.
