Thanks for everyones comments. We had a great day. We fished from 9 until 4:30. The two hour ride home is always better when you catch fish. Doug is suppposed to call me today after he cleans them and let me know about how many have eggs in them. Unless the daytime highs drop back into the lower fiftys West Point will have an early spawn. The water temp was between 54 and 58.

WOW! Way to go Earl! I hope just once in my lifetime I can get into them like that at Oconee. Funny how one lake produced after all the rain and bad weather and another went dormant. Looks like you better get to frying those guys. Thats enough to last me and the wife a year!

Glad they are keeping a check on the boat ramps, just wished they would get on the water. They could write tickets all day long around any no wake zone. Do they need GPS #'s. I can help them out. Duck season is just about over, so I guess they will hit the ramps pretty good till turkey season.

STUFF HAPPENS Game wardens are sitting in a truck.. you got that right... I know a few.. I have only been checked twice in my lifetime of having a lisense... We do have a new Alabama state trooper marine guy on Harding. he is a nice young fella and works the lake every few days because he does WP and Lake martin the other days..
