Fished the Hill today. They are not in Soap Creek that's for sure. Caught about 7 small ones and a 4 lb largemouth. Ran into a few people towards the end of the day who said quite a few trollers were seen at Bakers Creek. Water temp is 55 degrees in Soap and the water looks great. The Hill has come up one foot according to the owner at Soap's Marina. Will be back home on Oconee tomorrow, glad we have the privledge to have a full lake. Any reports on Oconee water clarity?
oconee is ready. Fished the smokehouse today on an instructional trip and just before we left caught 5 nice ones. No more muddy than what I have caught them in. This week is giong to be crazy good.
Good report thanks
Actually they are in soap creek. Thats where we been catchin em. Went to grays creek last nite and didnt have much luck. Only caught 21 in about 3 hrs, and they were mostly right at dark. No bites after 7:00. I didn't go tonite but my son is up there now and he is doing pretty good. If I can figure out how to load a picture, I will send one tomorow.
How are you fishing for then at night? Trolling, shooting docks, minnows, jigs, are you putting out lights
