Night lights on Sinclair
Turned on my dock light to catch some shad to bait my trotline. By 9:30pm (Very Early) I was catching over 100 shad per cast. They were so thick that the circle of shad was 10' across and their backs were touching the surface of the water. The large mouth bass, crappie and gar were tearing them up. This time of year there are few people with dock lights on because they stop going to the lake after Labor Day. The shad have definately moved into the coves. I will start shooting docks after this Saturday night cold snap. Hopefully the cooler weather will get them under the docks. Trotline produced well the first night, but it has slowed down now. Good Luck!
