I sure hope Fall gets here early cause I am tired of this darn heat wave. I finally went fishing this morning and was able to catch around 15 nice blue gills but the crappie are still got lock jaw.

I think that's wishful thinking. We still got almost 2 months of hot weather yet. Boy, I hope I'm wrong.

I hope it is early. We did not have a winter this past year and pretty much went straight into summer. The weather seems to have been about four weeks early all year so maybe we will have an early fall. I deer hunt with a bow and bow season starts September 8th. It is tough swatting mosquitoes and sitting still at the same time.

I agree with Earl about 4 wks. early on conditions and mother nature. Planted garden early everything has been about 4 wks ahead of normal harvest time. The Crappie spawn here was all out of whack compared to past years. Birds nested early. Hummingbirds were late here this year. Flowers and schrubs blooming earlier than normal. The surface of the ground seems to me to be hotter than normal. In my 73 yrs, I cant remember conditions that compare with these we are having in the past 2 yrs. One thing for sure provided my health is good, Ill be prepared equipment wise to do some bottombumping 4 wks early this year. WISHFUL THINKING MAYBE. BB
