Thread: oconee sunday

jigslinger and i hit oconee sunday. we havnt been out together since the tourney at oconee on the fifth. so after a little talk we decided to try it again. got there about 7:30 and put in at sugar creek. hit a few docks and had a ball catching dinks on just about every shot. we moved our way out to the main channel and shot some more docks with deep water. again a boat load of dinks. we ended up fishing 3/4 of the lake and every dock we could find with desent water depth. did a lot of exploring and using the humminbird to search for spots to help in the future. we must have caught 150 to 200 fish. we didnt find any true slabes but kept 30 nice 10 inchers. not what we had in mind but a lot of fun catching them. water lice wasnt to bad but i will make a point of doing trips out there on weekdays when i can until fall.
