Default Need to change my name to jighanger instead of jigslinger

Went through my tackle bag today just to see what I had left in case I fish the tourney Saturday. Almost all my jiffy jigs say" gone fishin" I've lost over 5 dozen since mid feb. That means 60 jiffy jigs not including the other stuff are stuck all over jackson, Oconee, sinclair!
I don't remember losing that many...I have gave away a couple to people who pull up And ask what im useing but darn!

Ahh...the price we pay for a few fish. I've been fishing very shallow water in the 3' to 5' range (flats) for the past few weeks chasing those big slab white crappie spawning and had a few mornings where I lost in the neighborhood of 12-15 jigs each morning. It does hurt when you hang and break off that many in a day for sure. When I aint fishing shallow I might go fishing a dozen times and only loose a few, if any. That's just fishing though.

Richard, you have broken the Golden Rule. Never discuss or admit how much it cost to Fish or Hunt! If this kinda of information gets back to wives or girlfriends that do not fish or hunt our great sports are DOOMED! My wife thinks I get paid to do these things!!!! I can not wait to earn some money this Friday and Saturday at Oconee. LOL

I quit keeping the cards a long time ago to keep me from thinking about how many I have lost! Pull them off and stick them in the tray and keep buying a card here and there and you won't notice it as much. Earl is right. Keep it on the low low! Those Jiffy Jigs are money makers not takers!!!!!! I think I need to fill my trays again this weekend, Sav-A-Lot had a bunch last weekend that worked really well. Need to refill my tray of Sugarbugs too. Love those sickle hooks.

Well, you can imagine the jigs that are lost at Talquin..When I first started, I was using HalFly's, Jiffy Jigs and Bab Fly jigs...I lost a ton of lead!!! But after switching over to Lightwirehooks, I dont lose near as many.
