Been gone satisfying the salt urge for 4 years. Fished Eufaula about 4 times last year and it really woke me up again. Been three weekends now, twice to Talquin and once to Blackshear on Sturday. Caught 18 last trip to Talquin in 30' and managed to keep 14 Saturday morning out of Swift Creek in 17'.
I am not through with the salt but I am ready to get back at those slabs through the spring. Hope to see you guys out and about.

Dan,
If you missed December you missed the best fishing trout fishing I can remember in quite some time. I don't plan to go back until late April after I have had my fill of " Crappie Fishing". If you get a chance to go good luck.
Yep, I had heard the trout were big fat and hungry. Limits within an hour of daylight were common. Glad they upped the redfish limit and left the trout open during February in the NW region. Hope they get a little more open minded on the deep blue fishes too. Hard to justify the fuel costs to go deep any more.
