Anyone going to oconee this weekend? I am off sunday and may go and the weather looks like its going to be in the mid 60s friday sat and sunday. May get the fish biting and we have a new moon coming up as well. Where are they at now? Anyone caught any lately? I've been told January is the month for the big ones so maybe a little warm weather will spice things up. Atleast the wife and I won't freeze to death.

I am about a 60% chance of getting down there this weekend. Want to go Saturday, but looks like Sunday will be the best day for it (weather wise)
I will be going tommorrow and putting in at blue springs, question is should I go North up the river or South to the main body? How deep should I be looking, Im thinking 40ft.
I am keeping my eyes glued to weather.com. They are showing rain tomorrow but if you look at the radar there is no rain in sight after this system we had today moved through. I am going to put in at sugar creek. I was reading some of the fishing report the guides at Oconee put out and they were saying the Crappie have moved to the middle of the major creek arms and will soon be moving toward shallower water. I am a tightliner so I really dont know where to start. Haven't heard many Oconee reports from people here on the forum lately.
