    Default Jackson report

Went to Jackson fri and sat. Met jigslinger and his buddy at the 212 bridge.real nice guys.i got there just as the bite shut down.but learned a quit a bit from them about shooting jigs under the bridge pilons.thanks guys hope to fish with you guys again.im sure i missed way more than i caught the bite was so light.but with more practice im sure i will get the hang of it.went back sat morn caught about six nice ones before the bite shut down.switched from shooting jigs under the bridge pilons to a 1/2 oz bell sinker with 2 Aberdeen hooks on loop knots and caught about 50 dinks and another half dozen keepers.it was my first time on Jackson and i will be going back as soon as possible.again thanks jigslinger you da man.

No problem man, nice meeting you.I hope we can get together and fish sometime you can give me some trolling tips. The biggest tip to catching those fish under there is realizing that the lightest twitch or thump means set the hook! When I took my nephew Saturday he kept saying "I got a bite" once I convinced him that bite he was feeling meant fish on...set hook and start winding he started catching them left and right.
