what color halfly was you using jigslinger if you dont mind sharing that....i was catching the other day on a white/red/white halfly

Panfisher ....color didn't seem to matter much most were caught on red/white/ white or black/white/white. Also caught some on red/green/yellow. What did matter was weight they'd hit the 1/24 but not 1/32 or 1/16

Bowman...I literally had one spot to get the boat positioned just right where the bridge pilings blocked the wind ,and had to stay on the trolling motor to keep it there.if the front or back came out of that hiding spot I was doing 360s down the lake before I could get it back under controll!

Were do you get some hal flies I can't find any?
I usely use jiffy jigs, but I picked up a few hal flies at potts store on this particular trip. If your not familiar with the area potts store is a chevron gas station just north of lake jackson.

Thanks I do to. I do know where potts store is I used to have a lot on the lake off of Norman dr. I just hadn't seen any hal flies in a while. I looked online at hal flies web site and they were double the price as jiffy jigs.
i killed the crappie in upper end of jackson years ago.havent found good fish in past 4 or 5 years.what am i doing wrong
